The most valuable is information! For example
I have not
any information about
a custom version of Flight Simulator for
Cessna's retail flight stores
(I do not know a number of the version and
a computer type for which was made). Still nobody let me know. Does anybody remember this
issue? I would be appreciate your knowledge. In my opinion, it is very
important to save them for history!
In case you are willing to help me, please let me know to my
e-mail address or
simply leave a message in the guestbook.
I am very glad,
that
I
received very interesting and valuable information from
Thomas Funke from Germany,
Fred Peralta from USA,
information about
a special edition of MSFS 2.12 for AST Research, information about a
custom conversion by Andras
Szigethy from Hungary and so on. Please, I need this kind of information.
There are eight questions that should be answered. Some of them are already solved.

Who is an author of the
A2-FS1 (Flight Simulator 1 for Apple II) with 12x12 squares scenery? Was it
made originally by subLOGIC (Bruce Artwick)?

I have never seen neither an original
manual nor an original MG tape or a floppy disk. So it seems it was made by someone out of subLOGIC
with use of the original Artwick's issue.
Do you have any information? |

Is there any other Flight Simulator issue
(by subLOGIC or Microsoft) for any computer platform than we know
(timeline)?
I guess I have them all, but... What are for example following unknown
(unofficial?) manual issues
(the pictures on the left)?

Some unknown
(unofficial?) manual (left) and the original manual (right) to MSFS 1.00

Some unknown
(unofficial?) manual (left) and the original manual (right) to MSFS 3.0
It seems like
some unofficial (illegal) issues of Microsoft Flight Simulator 1.00 and
3.0 manual for IBM PC. Do you have any information? Were there the
software with the releases? |

Does anyone know anything about a special
Flight Simulator issue for Cessna’s flight stores? I have only a notice
from the past, that it was made without crash message. So, it seem like
some very early issue of subLOGIC or Microsoft Flight Simulator. I even do not know if it is the truth information. Do you have any
further information regarding to this? |

There is
a demo as a part of subLOGIC 3D Graphics Package for Apple II (1979). It is
the first ever public software regarding to later subLOGIC Flight
Simulator 1 for Apple II.

Does the demo (with Flight Simulator
pictures) exist for any other type of computer than Apple II? Is it any
other public demo before 1979? Do you
have any information? |

In 1991 was published the information about
new subLOGIC Flight Assignment: Air Force Pilot Trainer, since 1992 was
called more simplest - Flight Assignment: Air Force. Unfortunately Sierra bought
subLOGIC in 1995 and it seems, that the new simulator was never
released. Does anyone have available at least beta version or any
information? The picture was published on the back side cover of
subLOGIC Scenery Collection Set B already in 1991. Last notice, about
possible release, subLOGIC announced in 1995 (Computer Flight Newsbriefs
35).

Did subLOGIC really release their Scenery
Disks 8 and 10? It seems they were never released.
Scenery disks 8 and 10
were never released, although, the reasons are unknown. |

There is New York scenery in
Microsoft Flight Simulator since version 1.00 and I know that there are WTC
"twins" buildings at Manhattan since version 2.XX. Are
there the WTC buildings in Microsoft Flight Simulator 1.00 (1.05) as
well? I can find JFK, but any buildings at Manhattan. Could somebody
confirm that?
The WTC buildings are
not included in MSFS 1.xx.

I believed, that subLOGIC Flight Simulator II for Atari (8 bit)
has only the black/white instrument panel. There are lots of the same
B/W screenshots worldwide on the Internet. So, how is it possible, that the Flight Simulator on the picture
has the instruments in color?

I found out, that subLOGIC Flight Simulator II for Atari (8bit) was able
to depict the instrument panel in colors by using a right monitor with
the composite artifact colors mode. I even found the right emulator
setup to get the same image (on the left).
